My question to my collages: What types of play do you think is most important for children to engage in?
How much time for play do you think should be allotted for a child during the school day?
The type of play that I would think is the most important In my opinion is for the child who starts playing in an area of choice. In our classroom, we have 45min-1hr of free play, then, we do outside play for another 45min. However, we do have structured times for the children in the morning for circle time I, small group, circle time II. Hope this helped out at least a little
